The Association of The Idea of Cleves was born in 2007 in L'Aquila. Since then we undertake to promote cultural events.
In 2013 we'll organize the Festival of Cinema Aquila, which reach its seventh edition, "GONG-Oh", an exhibition of music and songs, the L'Aquila Mountain Film Festival and ESSAI, an art movies review.
In the past he also held a national press award, named in memory of Giuseppe Massari (aka Gio' Kappa), a journalist from L'Aquila who died prematurely.
In 2009, due to the earthquake that hit, destroying the city of L'Aquila, has undergone a partial stop to their activities, finding themselves having to cancel the second edition of the Prize Gio' Kappa and a contest-exhibition of photography.
We could, at least, organize in emergency, the Film Festival of that year, with pride and stubbornness.
